I'll Buy You a Gift

Sarah wants to surprise mommy and daddy.

One morning when mummy was asleep, Sarah nudged me to bring her shopping. She selected a heart shaped rose with a teddy bear. Cost: $8.90. Daddy paid.
"I want to buy something for you," she said.

I think to myself, "You buy me a gift. And I pay for it."
Oh how sweet.

Then she went to another shop. Saw a beautiful mug with the picture of a princess.
She want to buy it.
Then she saw a guitar toy and she too wants to buy it.
"I am a rock and roll girl, " she declared as she strummed the guitar and jump on her feet.

"Do you want to buy the whole stall?"
"You can only pick one item."
On the way back home, we met our resident Goh Lai Hock.
She gave an impromptu rock and rock guitar performance in front of Goh and the senior citizens at the Senior Citizen corner.
