World Piece or One Piece?

World Piece or One Piece?
One of the unsung hero of Singapore idol whispered to the ears of Gurmit Singh: "I want to work for world peace."

"What?" Gurmit couldn't hear his careless whisper.
Raising his two fingers, he repeated "World Peace"

Sarah, age 4, repeated after him: "One piece"
"No, it's world peace, not one piece", I tried to correct her.

Sarah shaked her head in disbelief at my stupidity.
She raise her index finger and said slowly "One piece".
Then she showed me two fingers.

"Two piece".

Father and child got into an endless argument.
To her, there's no such thing as "world peace" because it is not in her vocabulary.
I don't know how to explain the meaning of world peace to a 4-year old kid.

I let her win her argument. She smiled in victory.

This reminds me about God and man. Man tried to comprehend the ways of God according to his own limited understanding. That's why God say in the Bible, "Trust in the Lord, acknowledge him and don't lean upon your own understanding".
