What Have You Learnt Today?

Coming home from work I conversed with Sarah, my 4-year old old daughter.
"Did you learn anything today?"
"Yes"
"What did you learnt?", I asked
"I don't know what I learnt today".

My child is my teacher. Their mind untainted by the scepticism of adults.
"I dont' know what I learnt today". A familar sentiments of adults.
Is it cos of information overload?
Or are we busy running our lives that we are lost in the jungle, that we forget to pause lost
and reflect upon our purpose and meaning in life?
