Fatherhood- Conversation with a kid
I was watching a Tamil movie together with my 4-year old kid. As usual, the couple would dance and sing in the rain.
"Why they never bring their umbrella?", she asked me.
I'm stumped.
"Daddy, come and play with me!", she pleaded with me.
So I joined her to cook a fish. I smell the (toy) fish's mouth.
"Eek, bad breath. Can I brush her teeth with toothbrush and toothpaste?" I asked her.
I couldn't fool her with that one. She was smarter than I thought.
"Darling, now go and wash the fish." I played along with this make-believe.
"...But I don't have shampoo!!!", she replied.
