I have a few blogs. Each focuses on ONE subject. Blogs are easiest way to update your website. No need to learn HTML or FTP or what not.

I blog cos I take the guru's advice literally to write something everyday. A writer writes just as a painter paints. It helps cos through practice you'll find your own unique voice.

I think it is good to start a blog. At least, for learning sake. Never know when it comes in useful. There's so much learn in blogging - how to create one, change the template, add-on features, RSS, etc.

The key to success is to focus on a niche subject and update it regularly. It increase your visibility, enhance your brand, and showcase your portfolio.
