How rich are Singaporeans? - financially, morally, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually.

Here are the signs:

1. Many do not have enough money in their Medisave account. Almost 1 in 5 Singaporeans have less than $1,000 in their account.

2. We have a suicide rate of 1 per day.

3. People are downgrading their houses from 5-room flats. 3-rooms flats are now in demand.

4. A casino is going to be built. Did someone say that as long as he is around, he will never allow a casino to be built?

5. The education system. The aim of our education system was never to educate a person, but to get a good ranking. When schools were ranked by academic excellence, some subjects such as literature became optional subjects cos it is hard
to score. Now MOE has wised up and abolished the ranking by academic excellence.
