Stephen King on Writing

Stephen King in his book "On Writing", said:

"Writing isn't about making money, getting famous, getting dates, getting laid, or making friends. In the end, it's about enriching the lives of those who will read yoru work, and enriching your own life, as well."

He said, "I never set a single word down on paper with the thought of being paid for it....And if you can do it for joy, you can do it forever."

His simple advice: "Read a lot, write a lot".
